How pay per booked call works
Most lead generation agencies charge a monthly retainer whether they book you ten calls or none. We think that puts the risk in the wrong place. With Regular Worker, the price is tied to the result you actually care about: a qualified sales call on your calendar.
- Kickoff and tech setup. We agree on who your ideal buyer is, build the target list, tighten your LinkedIn profile and write the outreach in your voice. This is the one-time setup fee.
- Outreach runs every day. We send personal connection requests and messages from your LinkedIn account, follow up, and handle the replies.
- Calls land on your calendar. When a prospect is interested, we book them straight into your calendar with the context you need for the call.
- You pay per booked call. $250 USD for each qualified call. No retainer, no paying for activity that didn't produce meetings.
What makes a call "qualified"
Pay-per-call only works if both sides agree on what a good call is, before outreach starts. Before launch we write down:
- Who: the job titles and seniority you sell to.
- Which companies: industry, size and location.
- Why they're booking: the prospect knows what the call is about and has a reason to take it.
- Exclusions: existing customers, partners, competitors and anyone you don't want contacted.
Those rules go into your service agreement, along with how no-shows and reschedules are handled. That way there's never a debate about an invoice.
Pay per booked call vs. a monthly retainer
| Pay per booked call | Monthly retainer | |
|---|---|---|
| What you pay for | Qualified calls on your calendar | The agency's time and activity |
| Slow month | You pay less | You pay the same |
| Agency incentive | Book calls that fit your criteria | Keep the retainer running |
| Cost to start | One-time tech setup | Usually the first month up front |
| Budgeting | Cost per call is fixed, total varies with results | Total is fixed, cost per call varies |
Is $250 per call worth it?
Do the math with your own numbers. If you close one in five sales calls and an average client is worth $5,000, each call is worth about $1,000 in revenue to you. Paying $250 for it leaves plenty of margin. If a client is worth $500, pay-per-call lead generation probably isn't the right fit, and we'll tell you that on the first call.
Why LinkedIn
For B2B, LinkedIn is where the buyers are listed by job title, company and industry, and where a personal message from a real person still gets read. It's targeted in a way cold email lists rarely are, and every conversation builds your network rather than burning it. That makes it a good fit for a pay-per-call model: the targeting is precise enough to book calls with the right people.
What you do
Less than an hour a week. Join a 30-minute kickoff, approve your messages before launch, show up to the calls and tell us which ones closed so we can target more people like them.
